Good afternoon, Richey Families, this is Mr. Wolin, your child’s principal.

This week brings a few important updates from Richey Elementary. On Tuesday, we will have Picture Day. Also, our second-grade students will also begin their first round of state testing.

We also want to take a moment to stress the importance of consistent attendance. Recently, we have seen a decline in daily attendance, and it is critical that students are in school each day to learn, grow, and reach their full potential.

In addition, we are addressing an increase in hands-on behaviors. Please take time to reinforce with your child that it is never acceptable to put hands on another student or staff member. Our school must remain a safe and respectful place for every child to focus on learning—and this requires all of us working together.

We truly appreciate your partnership. With your support, we know that Richey Elementary can continue to grow to be a top school in our district, where students feel empowered to flourish and succeed.

Empowering students to level up!
