We were so excited to see so many smiling faces at Meet the Teacher! 😄📚 It’s going to be an amazing year at Richey Elementary, and we know that success takes teamwork — between our staff, students, and YOU, our families. 🤝✨
📅 The first day of school is Monday, August 11th.
🚗 We will start opening car doors at 9:20 AM
🍽️ Main Gates open at 9:25 AM so students can grab breakfast.
🚪 Classroom doors open at 9:30 AM, and that’s when students should head inside.
👨👩👧👦 For the first day only, parents may walk their children to the outside pod doors.
🧸 Kindergarten families may walk their children all the way to their classroom door—but just for Monday.
🔒 Starting Tuesday, for safety and security, all students will walk in on their own.
💛 Don’t worry—we’ll have plenty of staff on hand to help them find their way!
🦁 This year, we’re setting clear expectations for positive behavior. If students are not following the rules, there will be progressive steps taken. Please review the behavior plan below with your child.
🚨 One important note: if a student reaches Step 5 in one day, they will stay for After School Reflection until 5:00 PM, and a parent or guardian will need to pick them up.
📔 Your child will have a daily planner this year where it will be noted on their ROAR sheet if they had reached any of the flowchart steps.
